I've got dell's latitude D520 laptop. It has the blue tooth's icon which is supposed to lighten up when in use. But i don't know how to start using the blue tooth. I've put my bluetooth cellphone(switching bluetooth on) near the laptop - no result. the comp's bluetooth icon does not react. i also looked up inside programs for it, couldn't find it.
Could anyone please help me out with that?
Blue tooth for Dell?
The bluetooth icon should be in your notification area. If it isn't, press your Fn key and one of the F keys (F1, F2 etc.), which will turn on your bluetooth and Wi-fi (in default settings). For my Dell computer it's Fn+F2. Now it should appear after a while in your notification area (bottom right hand corner of your screen). Make sure the icon is on. If it isn't, right click it and click turn bluetooth adapter on. Then right click it and press add a bluetooth device. The wizard should guide you through the rest of the steps.
