Blue tooth?

Can I play a video sent from my mobile phone to my computer, if so, how do I do it. When I try to play it, my computer asks me which program to play it on (window media etc) and all of them state it can't support the file.

Blue tooth?
The video format that many mobile phones used is not a usual standard on PC's. Look at the extension of the file video.MP4, video.MPG etc. then do a search on a site like DOWNLOAD.COM for a player for that extension of movies on the PC.

Reply:Did you not get software that came with your phone? Most new phones come with software today that allows you to play your phone videos on your pc.

Quicktime seems to work for me.

Hope this helps.
Reply:The compression method used by your mobile phone is not officially supported by your computer, you must have an appropriate codec (compressor-decompressor) so the player can decompress it.

- Use the software that come with your mobile phone seems to be the best option.

- Google for a spesific codec (please look at the file extension)

- Download an entire codecs collections from the internet if you can't find the right one used by your mobile phone. By using this method, you could play other "strange" videos as long as the codecs is installed when you install the whole collection

If you go by the last option, I would recommend google for "K-lite mega codecs pack". As the name implies, it has tonnes of codecs in it along with some nice player (named Media Player Classic).

Another option is "Mplayer". It is a player with a codecs collections included. The codecs is not installed into the systems (so it has less potential problem with the existing codecs) but as the result, another player cannot use the codecs.

Hope this helps
