Blue tooth question???

Can you connect to another cell phone and them send you a ringtong using blue tooth if there phone is a different type than yours?


I heard that they have to be the same brand to be compatible?

No, they don't have to be the same kind.
Reply:I have done this many times and the answer is no, you do not have to have the same brand phone or even use the same carrier.
Reply:No it doesn't have to be the same brand. However, please make sure that the phones can play the SAME kind of ring tones... eg some phones can't play true tones, even though they have bluetooth compatability.
Reply:No yu dont have 2 have the same type of phones 2 recieve stuff from bluetooth i do it all the time %26amp;%26amp; all my friends got differnt phones.. so it doesnt matter what type of phone you got.
