Blue tooth?
Bluetooth is a wireless transmission protocol used in mobile phones. It allows your to transfer information wirelessly in a 10m radius. It can be used by cellphones, computers, headsets, printers and so on. The trasmission of data is free of charge (like in older phones the Infrared port).

Bluetooth allows you to transfer data.

Which data?

Well, pretty much all bluetooth phones allow you to connect a headset and hence tranfer voice wirelessly from the phone to the headset.

Some phones allow you to transfer whatever you want: pictures, music, files, voice, notes, even messages.

Since bluetooth is free of charge and allows you to share everything you have on your phone with everyone, some operators (Vodafone) turn part of the feature off. So, on some branded phones, it is no longer possible to share music, pictures and other files.

This is due to the fact that operators want you to purchase the items by them instead of sharing them for free with your friends.

Bluetooth is free, but sometimes it is limited because of that.

Hope it helped.
Reply:no, at least it shouldn't. but you need a blue tooth equipped computer, so if you don't have a printer or anything like that then it really doesn't matter.
Reply:no, all u need to answer calls using bluetooth is a device, umm cingular should let u, u can also transfer ringtones ang games through bluetooth as long as its a gsm carrier, my verizon razr doesnt do it
Reply:HI

Bluetooth costs absolute nothing when you use it on cell phone dear. The other phone should also be consist of bluetooth and thats it. Just switch on both the phone connections and connect. I hope this will help you.

take care
Reply:no it does not, all you need to do is buy the bluetooth headset and have a bluetooth compatable phone.
Reply:No, Bluetoooth is just a feature that is offered on some phones. If your phone already has it, you can use it for a bluetooth earpiece, transfer photo's, sounds, and even connect it to computers. Instead of picture mail which costs money on your bill, you can transfer photo's VIA bluetooth..
