Does Blue Tooth option really use up that much battery?

I just got the new Samsung 6R10 and it has stereo Blue Tooth. Is it ok to leave the Blue tooth setting on, so when ever someone calls me, I just pick up my headset and hit the button, or should I disable it when ever I'm not using it. Does it really use up a lot of battery power or a little. My standby time is 14 days, so would having blue tooth all the time, shorten the time by alot.

My phone also has an option to turn location on, so it knows my GPS location, this is used when I get directions on my phone from my location. Should I turn the location off, until I actually use the GPS or it doesn't matter, will this shorten my battery also and by how much?

Keeping bluetooth feature powered on your phone should not take on much battery power. On the other hand your bluetooth headset may take much battery power. It all depends on setting and usage. To preserve more power change the settings around. I have a Motorola Razr V3C and the bluetooth is always on with and my bluetooth headset runs out of charge very quickly because of usage. If your phone has other features such as Wi-Fi make sure it is turned of, because Wi-Fi DOES TAKE MUCH BATTERY POWER. Hope this helps.
