How do u know if ur computer has blue tooth?
the usual place to look that up is your computers manual... or the mainboards manual, if it is a composit system...

most modern notebooks have bluetooth, but few desktop pc mainboards feature it. the usual way to add it to a PC is to use a USB dongle, a device that looks like a USB memory stick, but contains the bluetooth receiver/transmitter instead...

if you know your way around your OS a bit, you can check up the Device manager and see if there is a bluetooth device listed... this goes for windows, but MacOS and linux have similar tools.

i am a bit confused about your headset having both bluetooth AND a cord... i have not yet seen such a setup... i mean, the whole wireless connection thingy is a bit moot, if you still have the unused cable dangle from it, does it?
Reply:Very few computers use bluetooth technology to communicate and the only ones that do are laptops you can buy an adapter that you plug into your audio out port and it will broadcast to a blue tooth headset.
Reply:It would show up under device manager. Right click my computer, goto properties and then to hardware. Clink on device manager and scroll through your list. It would show up here. If you're dealing with a laptop, there is a pretty good chance you have it if it's a late model mid to high end laptop. If it's a desktop you more than likely don't have it unless you installed it or requested it when you purchased the computer. Hope this helps...
Reply:look on your computer for the Bluetooth logo. It looks like a "rune" style letter "B" with what could be a pair of small antennas sticking at an angle off of the back.

It might be an icon on the desktop, or printed somewhere on the case. You'll need to find the icon, because you need to be able to pair the computer to the earpiece before it will work at all.

Use yahoo image to search for "bluetooth logo" and you'll see what you are looking for.
