How can I transfer files from my cell phone to PDA through Blue Tooth?

My cell phone is LG-VX8100 and the PDA is Dell x51v. I know the USB cable might work. However, since both devices have Blue Tooth funcations, Can I use it for transfering files?

Actually both devices can find each other but that's it, I can't do anything else though. Do I need to install a special software?

Any suggestions or comments are really appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

i think so but you can just use the usb cable anyway
Reply:You need *any* connection in either case. If not Bluetooth, it can be InfraRed or cable connection. Surely, you need also appropriate software to communicate with your device.
Reply:select the file on your phone and you should find a 'send' option

then select 'via bluetooth' and select your PDA as the destination.

PDA should then ask if you want to accept the file.

(you do need to 'pair' the devices first.......)
Reply:Just browse through the file you want to send and then select option and then select send via bluetooth.
