Blue tooth?

ingnoring the neat/cool factor of a blue tooth and the status symbol they are becoming are they really that good and more importantly are they private? what are the odds of my blue tooth getting picked up by somebody else or can somebody else dalibertly pick it up or listen to my conversation.

Blue tooth?
A bluetooth device needs to be paired to another device, but this doesnt mean its secure.

If you go to a crowded place (such as a movie theater) and search for all the bluetooth phones, and then you try to connect to each one, eventually someone will have their device open and unsecure, and then you can listen in on their conversations.

There are also several ways of hacking into a paired bluetooth device.

Just be carefull when receiving blueooth requests on your phone.
Reply:Blue tooth devices need to be 'paired' so that only device a can talk to device b. So in theory you can't be overheard by accident.
Reply:If you have agreed to use any digital device, then agree that nothing is that secret in the digital world.

The chance that someone might pick your conversation is 50-50. Activate the security authentication for your bluetooth.
