I was wondering if anyone out there knew if the bluetooth headset, which works with mobiles, etc. also worked with home pc's. As in chatting in messenger services, which I already do with a plug in mic. and headphone. The plug in variety works well enough, but the sound quality is not always good. I cannot quite get my head around the wireless-ness of bluetooth!..I have a broadband connection, if this makes a difference.
Blue tooth?
you need bluetooth connection from your PC, which you probably dont' have..so no you cannot
Reply:You can buy a bluetooth dongle for about £10.00. Not much range but it works. Haven't got a headset to talk to the PC yet, though - you may need some specific software to make that work.

Blue tooth?
i want to know about the working of bluetooth
Blue tooth?
Basically its a wireless connection from your phone to another device...it works just like your tv and a remote control.....
Reply:wireless technology
after you turn it on on your device you can contact anyone who has a device with bluetooth on, unless they don't allow you to
usually there are cellphones and PCs with bluetooth, so you can send pics, music, videos ......
sending stuff is for free, when you send pics via picture mail you get charged for it

Reply:a blue tooth is a phone u put in your ear that stays there. but u have to have ur cell near by. its so liek when ur driving or busty with somethign else you dont have to hold ur phone all u do is tlak and listen. so a hands off phone basically.
Reply:who knows, ya know i saw a car the other day with "blue tooth" what is it!!?????and i heard that they were going to use blue tooth in shoes too... dunno...
Reply:Blue Tooth is a technology that allows two items to transfer information between each other. It is (from what I know) a secure way of transferring. It is not limited to a ear piece, and a cell phone. It can be two cell phones transferring info between each other, PDAs, I believe they are even coming out with blue tooth keyboards and mice. It is very versatile. We will probably see it in any devise that deals with information in the next year or two.

Blue tooth???
WHY %26amp; WHY DO PEOPLES OPEN THEIR BLUETOOTH IN ANY TIME SPECIALLY IN MALL,SUPERMARKET ETC.
Blue tooth???
Most likely because they are using it (earphones), or maybe because they think they can receive files, mp3-s. This is not possible of course, since noone can send/receive anything from a phone unless they are pared. The thing is that you can find more bluetooth connections in a mall, because there are more people there than in any other place.
Reply:probably because they are using it
Reply:because either they want to fool around by sending unwanted sms to all or they are ignorant enough to know that this can also get their cells attacked by mobile virus programmes from infected phones
Reply:Because they want to receive things(music, MP.3 ,videos and pictures) from other people.
Reply:Perhaps some of them may forgot to turn bluetooth off :))

Which is the strongest blue tooth in range? Does anyone know?
Blue tooth...!?
In the mobile phone market, CSR continues to offer the strongest Bluetooth product range to phone designers. This was borne out in 2006 by CSR winning 99 ...
Reply:5 to 30 metres... about 100 feet... But it can vary, depending on custom built hardware, but most devices will work at a range of about 20 to 30 feet.
The greater the distance the more power that is required,
Reply:bluetooth range depends on the amount of power supplied to the module. if you give it more power then it will cover a longer distance. The only reason that bluetooth has a small range is because it gets very less power.

How do i blue tooth a ring tone to someone?? details please! thanks!
Blue tooth?
Okay. you both turn on your bluetooth. And they go to the ringtone you want them to send and usually it says Send Via: Messages or Bluetooth. Pick bluetooth and it will go to My Devices and if you havent "connected" with them before you pick the Search for new devices. and once they connect you add them and it sends or tells u to type in a PIN for a device you added type 4 numbers and the other person you are trying to connect with is asked to type in a pin to MAKE SURE THE PINS ARE THE SAME. and from there it sends.
Reply:you cant.
